....."Iran no longer has the capability to create a nuclear weapon on its own, Israel's deputy prime minister said on Wednesday, in a new assessment that would seem to make military action less likely in the near future. The new view lengthens considerably previous time frames of about a year, and suggests the programme has been seriously damaged by sabotage, sanctions or both. It lends weight to the theory that a highly sophisticated computer worm called Stuxnet was inserted successfully last year into Iran's uranium enrichment programme. A report by a former United Nations weapons inspector last week said the worm might have forced the replacement of 1,000 uranium enrichment centrifuges at Iran's main facility. Moshe Yaalon, the deputy prime minister, said western pressure would force Iran to consider whether its nuclear programme was worth pursuing. "I believe that this effort will grow, and will include areas beyond sanctions, to convince the Iranian regime that, effectiv

He was arrested in the fall of 2007 in Sanandaj, the Kordestan provincial capital, north-western Iran for alleged membership in a proscribed armed group. According to Amnesty International, Habibollah's "trial was held behind closed doors and his lawyer was not allowed to be present to defend him. Nor was his family allowed to attend the trial". His family reported that he was held incommunicado for four months and beaten so badly that he was hospitalized for internal bleeding and unable to stand for weeks.
