RRD:If they are unwilling to fight for this pittance in cuts,(despite the fact that they gained seats during the last shutdown) what possible reason do we have to believe that they will fight for the necessary cuts to entitlements programs affecting millions.For that matter why should we believe that they will repeal Obamacare?(Or will they repeal it in "stages" conveniently leaving the "good parts" in place?)
This is not a question of "picking one's battles".The question is WHETHER THEY WILL FIGHT ANY BATTLES AT ALL.First we were promised the absurdly low figure of $100 billion,then $60 billion,now $38 billion!
I have zero trust in the GOP leadership,none,nada,zip,NOT A OUNCE.I will NOT support these fools based on broken promises.They must prove to us that they understand what is at stake.They haven't.They must go.Boehner,Cantor the whole Establishment machine.This is a matter of life & death with ramifications far beyond a particular amount of money.These fools,--leaving all matters of morality & trust to one side--don't have a clue how to fight this war. You want $100 billion? You DEMAND $500 billion & the total elimination of all funding for Obamacare.You tell THEM that they are lucky to get off with that. You DEMAND,(you do not ask),that we stop spending 10s of millions a week in Libya,& if Obama so much as hesitates you denounce him as a fool with no military experience risking American blood & treasure to aid our enemies. You submit a bill to pay our troops,(and ONLY to pay our troops),during the shutdown,& if he refuses to sign it you call him a traitor & a Murderer who again wants to cut off funding to our troops,(as he did before). In short you do to the Democrats,everything that they have been doing to Republicans for decades. That is how you fight Obama,(at a bare minimum,on the purely political level). But even this highly limited,narrow,concrete approach,(which doesn't even get into the philosophical battles that must be waged),is beyond these fools. They must go. http://johnboehner.house.gov/
You can give West Chester, OH 45069 -2006 or Troy, OH 45373 -3282 for your city to gain access to the fool,(he hides behind one of these "you must be from my district" e-mail forms,despite the fact THAT HE IS THE SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE,& THE "LEADER" OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY)
