...”Crime Stoppers is offering a record $200,000 privately funded reward to solve the mystery of a medical researcher who was shot to death in her car on Jan. 16 behind the Tanglewood townhome she shared with her family.


"It's been four months since my sister was senselessly murdered behind our home. These past four months have been unimaginably hard on all of us," said the victim's brother, Ali Bagherzadeh.

His sister had moved to Houston about five years earlier and was active in the organization Sabaz Houston, opposing political oppression and treatment of women in Iran.”
