Does the Levy Report Doom Israel? « Commentary Magazine
http://www.commentarymagazine.com/2012/07/17/does-the-levy-report-doom-israel/ I do not regard the West Bank & Gaza as being part of Israel proper,but it is absurd to suggest that peace will be prevented by the Levy report,it has been,and will be prevented by the unwillingness of a sizable portion of the Palestinian population to co-exist with any Israeli state whether its capital were Jerusalem,Tel Aviv or a portable tent(quite possibly a majority of Palestinians oppose peace,despite their statements to pollsters to the contrary,certainly their choice of Hamas to lead them destroyed any prospect for peace in the foreseeable future).
As a addendum to my statement about the West Bank above, however,I should add that it is notewothy that we rarely if ever hear of a Sinai independence movement,or of the outrageousness of a "Occupied Sinai",or that Israel was obligated to return the Sinai to its ”rightful owners” Egypt.
And what has Israel gained from giving up the Sinai? The new president of Egypt has said that he intends to make Jerusalem the capital of the Caliphate; and Hillary Clinton is standing with Morsi right there--a "feminist" Secretary of State to the ”first feminist President” demanding that the Egyptian Military hand over power to Morsi,indifferent to both the well-being of the Israelis and Egyptian Women and Girls.

RRD:So the majority of Egyptians have elected a Islamist maniac,and we are giving aid to this country?Isn't it enough that we have built up Egypt's Military with F-16s and M1 Abrams Tanks,as part of this "peace" deal which was tossed out the window by "Democracy",while the supposedly "pro-Israel" Neo-Conservatives were cheering this as "striking a blow for freedom"(Charles Krauthammer excepted).
